Philosophy
There sure is a lot more great sci-fi fight music out there than fantasy. This is perfect for either grungy settings like Shadowrun or more epic space-opera battles such as in Star Wars. Some tracks crossover from the fantasy playlist, since that list is a bit more eclectic and has some tracks that could fit either genre. Players might be storming the decks of an alien spacecraft, taking down a mob lord’s penthouse, having a plasma shootout with police, or trying to catch a hacker in a high speed chase. Techno beats are mixed with cinematic orchestral music to create a balance between drama and action.
