Reddit user /r/watawatabou today posted a tool that lets you make 3D town maps in seconds. It’s called Toy Town and it is really, really cool.

With a simple set of tools a DM can create a 3D town map to inspire their medieval towns. The towns are fully explorable and the application comes with easy to use camera tools like perspective and orthographic views. New towns can be generated with a single key stroke, and even weather can be changed or randomized to mix things up a bit.

Will you use this tool in your own campaign? Let us know in the comments.

This looks spectacular! I tend to have troubles trying to put together a village, let alone a city. This looks like it could help immensely!
