The D&D Monster Manual released in select stores last Friday. To the dismay of some (myself included), the Monster Manual does not include an index that organizes monsters by their challenge rating. In previous editions, such an index made it super easy to put together small skirmishes or epic battles in a fast and balanced manner.
Luckily, Wizards of the Coast was quick to fix this oversight, and has recently published a list of Monsters by Challenge Rating PDF. It is short, simple, and to the point.
